This one-on-one session is tailored to your unique needs and goals, offering a comprehensive journey through creative vision, technical mastery, and professional retouching. Perfect for photographers at any stage, this workshop is structured to provide you with the insights and techniques necessary to stand out in the industry.

Pre-Workshop Consultation:

Before the workshop, we’ll have a detailed consultation to understand your goals, learning preferences, and current photography style. This ensures the workshop is customized to address your specific needs and aspirations.

Workshop Schedule:

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Meet and Greet

– Introduction and discussion of your photography goals

– Overview of the day’s schedule

9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Insights into My Work

– Presentation of my work and creative choices

– Discussion on my use of lighting, color, props, and retouching

– Background and experiences as a professional photographer

10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Clarifying Your Photography Style

– Discussion of your photography influences and inspirations

– Examination and critique of your current work, style, and use of color

– Strategies for incorporating admired elements into your own work

– Review of your current portfolio to identify strengths and areas for growth

– Creation of a personalized list of techniques to develop your desired photography style

– Strategies to refine and evolve your photographic style

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch Break

1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Gear Talk

– Introduction to the gear I use, including different lighting options (strobes vs. constant light)

– Discussion on light modifiers, props, and set building

1:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Hands-On Lighting and Photoshoot

– Basic setup and lighting techniques

– Building up to more complex lighting and set configurations

– Practical photoshoot session with a model

– Demonstration of how small changes in lighting, model posing, lenses, and angles can alter the mood of images

– Emphasis on experimentation and honing your craft.

4:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Retouching Techniques & Q&A

– Demonstration of my retouching process

Terms and Conditions for 1-Day 1-on-1 Photography Workshop

1. Attendance and Punctuality Please ensure that you arrive on time and attend each session in full to get the most out of your workshop learning and experience. If you miss all or a portion of the workshop due to lateness, you are not entitled to any refund.2. Behavior and Conduct If behavior or conduct is deemed unacceptable or inappropriate, you will be asked to leave the workshop. No refund of fees will be made. 3. Workshop Changes Gilmar Photography reserves the right to change the venue or the structure of the workshop. If any changes are made, attendees will be notified as soon as possible. 4. Image Usage Attendees are not permitted to use images taken at the workshop for commercial purposes. Image usage is strictly limited to portfolio use only (website, social media, and portfolio). You acknowledge that none of the participants in the workshop have given releases allowing commercial use of any images taken at the workshop. If you use any images commercially, you may be subject to legal liability. You agree to indemnify and defend Gilmar Photography, its members, officers, employees, models, and all other participants in the workshop from any claims, losses, costs, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees and disbursements) arising out of or relating to any claim that you have used an image taken at the workshop in any manner not permitted by this Agreement. 5. Liability Gilmar Photography is not responsible for any personal injury or damage to property arising from incidents occurring at the workshop venue. Please be aware of your personal items and remember to check your equipment at the end of the workshop. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal property. 6. Payment and Refund Policy 100% payment is due to book the one-on-one workshop. Payment is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your 1-on-1 workshop, you should notify Gilmar Photography at least 7 days in advance. 7. Travel and Accommodations Travel and accommodations are not included in the workshop fee. Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation. Gilmar Photography does not accept any liability for any loss or additional expense caused to the Participant by delay or interruption to travel services as a result of weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, strikes, wars, floods, sickness, acts of God, or anything else out of Gilmar Photography’s control and influence. Any such losses or additional expenses are the responsibility of the Participant. 8. Agreement to Terms By paying the booking fee for a workshop, the Participant agrees to accept all of the conditions in this contract.
