Herbie and my Little girl.

2016 left most of us emotionally exhausted… To me, there’s not better medicine than letting my creative juices play and and take over time. That’s what I did yesterday. I grew up in a family where New Year’s Eve was the biggest event of the year. Sadly, we are spread all over the world and those big family reunions don’t happen anymore. So, instead of feeling bad about it (2016 gave us lots of things to feel bad about already) I planned in advance and searched my stock library and found this gem, a picture of Herbie I took in the Nascar Museum in NC, and decided to play around with it. I took a picture of my daughter really quick and  searched in my library for a picture of a race track and waited for my kids to go to bed.  I got lost in Photoshop for a few hours and found myself almost fell asleep on my wacom tablet. So, mission accomplished! I spent New Years eve with my two little loves, did what I love the most and went to bed so tired I didn’t even listen to any thought going through my brain.

I think 2017 is gonna be a good one!img_8562

What a wonderful image and what a wonderful way to fall into bed — creatively exhausted! Love it! Love you! And, I think you’re right — it’s gonna be a good one. ;-)

    Happy New Year Gilmar! <3
